a job well done
puts those once-in-awhile doubts right back where they belong…
(at least, for now).

just to name an eclectic few…
Inspiration, for me, is everywhere~
I adore the beach
if only “Gidget” and “Moondoggie”
or even “The Big Kuhuna”
were on the blanket next to me…

I’m always inspired by the seasons~
Colors…
Textures
and even scents
greatly influence the details in my designs.
I was blessed with the gift of unique handwriting
at a very early age…
and my love of quotes
came shortly thereafter…
I’ve entertained countless people
with housewarming gifts
from whimsical
to amusing
to profound…
I’ve designed my share of elaborate social affairs
and more…
My love for nature
has sparked ideas for all types of designs
…and the fact that I have a PASSION for vintage buttons
is obsessively detailed in many of my designs…
My most respected critics
are my family and friends
who will critique my wares in full technicolor
…praise my talents
while trying to be as original as possible…
they are the cheering section in the grandstand of my life…
and I love them dearly.
Life’s experiences
will often dictate how a design will turn out~
on a good day
or a bad day
a scary day…
Those days when you don’t want to look up
and when
you don’t want to look down…
…and some days…
all you need is the comfort of a friend
to reassure you
to guide you
..in playful ways

and in grateful days

Lisa. Lisa, Lisa, YOU ROCK IN A BIG WAY!!!! And to think that I OWN some of your designs and they are in my possession and I can look at them and love them and remember with fondness, all of the moments spent with you in a whirlwind of IDEAS and new beginnings. I LOVE EVERY ITEM HERE and yes, your writing is unbelievably beautiful and a gift of sheer magic. EVERYTHING YOU MAKE OOZES OUT LOVE! And your choice of pictures…isn’t it fun to hunt for them and then come across something that just hits you? I CRACKED UP AT THAT BUDGIE on the girl’s head; my parakeet GEORGE use to fly around the house and menace my mom! SHE HATED THAT BIRD and it would land on her head like that while she was eating and he would look down at her and chirp. teeheee
