Autumn

arrives

in radiant splendor

summoning our primal yearning

to

feather our nests

and reminisce

about the good old days…

The

glorious foliage

and breathtaking scenery

warrants an impromptu

afternoon drive

through the countryside

to bask in the glory of it all.

Mother Nature

certainly

deserves our heartiest applause

for her magnificent show

of color

she presents us with every year.

The heavenly

aroma

of apples

is our cue

to

roll out the rolling pin

(No pun intended)

and

The spicy scent of mulled cider

conjures up

the anticipation of the approaching holidays…
